Pope Leo XIV has officially accepted the resignation of Bishop David Zubik from the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh, following his reaching the mandatory retirement age. In a significant leadership change, Bishop Mark Eckman has been appointed as his successor and will assume the role as the 13th Bishop of Pittsburgh.
