Recent heavy rains have resulted in significant disruptions across the region, including a landslide that closed all northbound lanes of Interstate 5 between Portland and Seattle. The area near Woodland was particularly affected, with a debris slide leading to partial reopening after earlier complete closures. Additionally, flooding has forced nearly 200 residents to evacuate from an RV park in Clatskanie, where the Clatskanie River has breached its banks. Although the rain has started to subside, flooding issues persist, and the situation remains critical as communities work to recover.
