More than 7.5 million Texans have participated in early voting for the upcoming midterm election, matching the record pace set in 2018. Harris County has broken its own records with over 1 million early votes cast, foreshadowing a competitive election day. Various counties across Texas, including Tarrant and Webb, have also reported substantial turnout, with some surpassing previous midterm numbers. Analysts suggest high early voting turnout indicates a potentially close race, particularly in the high-profile Talarico vs. Paxton matchup. With election day approaching, voters are encouraged to be aware of polling times and key races to watch.
