This crackdown, part of Operation Endgame, has been hailed for breaking key links in the ransomware supply chain, leading to the seizure of substantial amounts of cryptocurrency and the arrest of numerous suspects linked to the notorious Qakbot and DanaBot malware. Notably, the developers of DanaBot reportedly infected their own PCs, revealing the vulnerabilities in their operations.
