Identification of Soldiers Killed in Helicopter Crash in Washington
Four soldiers, including two from Washington state, have been identified by the Army following a tragic helicopter crash near Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Thurston County. The military helicopter, a Black Hawk, was involved in an incident resulting in the presumed deaths of all service members on board. The Army described the soldiers as ‘courageous Night Stalkers’ who were participating in a routine flight before the crash occurred. Recovery efforts are underway as authorities investigate the cause of the incident.
