Cook County Property Tax Bills to be Released Soon After Delay
Cook County officials have announced that the second installment of property tax bills, which has faced several months of delays, is expected to be mailed out on November 14, with a due date set for December 15. This development comes as nearly 17,000 homebuyers in the county express concerns about the tax hindrances caused by the delays. Cook County President Preckwinkle acknowledged the challenges posed by the postponed bills and confirmed that residents should expect the paperwork in their mailboxes next week, easing some of the headaches experienced by homebuyers.
