Florida State University (FSU) maintains its esteemed position at No. 23 nationally and ranks No. 10 in Niche’s Top Public Universities. Florida International University (FIU) has soared into the top 50 public universities in the nation and is recognized for its excellence in social mobility. The University of Florida (UF) has slipped to No. 7 among public universities, while the University of South Florida (USF) is highlighted as one of the best values in Florida, ranking in the top 50 public universities. Miami Dade College has also been acknowledged among the top five institutions. Other schools such as the University of North Florida and Florida Atlantic University (FAU) have made notable gains in their rankings. Overall, 18 Florida colleges are recognized as some of the best in America, showcasing the state's commitment to higher education.
