Hims & Hers has entered into a collaborative agreement with Novo Nordisk that allows the online health company to sell popular obesity medications Ozempic and Wegovy through its telehealth platform. This partnership comes after Novo Nordisk dropped its patent infringement lawsuit against Hims & Hers concerning compounded weight loss drugs. Following the announcement, Hims & Hers shares surged significantly, showing an increase of up to 50%. As part of the deal, Hims & Hers will discontinue selling compounded versions of Novo’s drugs, marking a strategic shift in their approach to the US weight loss market.
