A recent shooting incident outside an Eden Prairie homecoming football game has left two teenagers injured and has raised alarm over the involvement of Somali gang violence in the Twin Cities area. An 18-year-old suspect has been charged with multiple counts, including assault and riot, and was released on bond shortly after his arrest. The incident, which not only led to injuries but also prompted an evacuation of the game, has forced local authorities to increase patrols and reconsider security measures at community events. Investigations are underway, with cellphone data playing a critical role in identifying the suspect, amid calls for a task force to address ongoing gang-related violence in the region.
