Ukraine Launches Massive Drone and Missile Attacks on Russian Targets
In a series of coordinated strikes that have been described as one of the largest and most effective air assaults to date, Ukraine has targeted a wide range of military and industrial facilities across Russia. Reports indicate that Ukrainian forces launched British and American missiles, including Storm Shadows and ATACMS, in what is being referred to as the biggest aerial strike on Russian territory in years. The attacks have hit critical sites such as oil depots, chemical plants, and military bases, causing significant damage and sparking fires in multiple regions, including significant explosions at the Engels-2 airbase. Ukrainian drones flew long distances to double-tap key targets, with assessments indicating that over 200 long-range drones were deployed to strike vital Russian infrastructure. As Russia confirms the assaults, allegations arise regarding the involvement of Western weaponry in these operations.
