The agency highlighted that these batteries can catch fire, posing serious injury or even death risks. This comes after Rad Power Bikes indicated an inability to afford a recall. The situation has already resulted in over $730,000 in damages, further emphasizing the urgency of the warning. E-bike riders across the U.S. are advised to discontinue use of these potentially hazardous batteries immediately.
