Former President Trump and Senator Marco Rubio are reportedly weighing the option of firing Kimberly Guilfoyle as allegations of misconduct and a potential pay-to-play scheme continue to mount. Guilfoyle, the U.S. ambassador to Greece, has faced intense scrutiny following claims that she solicited a donor to cover a $100,000 American Express bill in exchange for access to Trump officials. The situation has drawn criticism from several Republican leaders who describe the reports as ‘very troubling.’ While some in Trump’s circle are expressing outrage, others, including Rubio, have refrained from commenting on the scandal. As investigations intensify, the repercussions for Guilfoyle could impact her position and the reputations of those in her network.
