Recent archaeological excavations in Egypt have revealed significant historical treasures, including a lost Byzantine-era city in the western desert and a complete Byzantine city in the Dakhla Oasis. The discoveries, announced by the Ministry of Antiquities, also include ancient tombs and ruins from the Roman Empire, indicating robust historical activity in the region.
