The New Jersey Forest Fire Service has successfully contained a series of wildfires in West Deptford and Gloucester County, which collectively burned more than 160 acres. The largest fire, occurring in West Deptford Township, affected areas near the Sunoco refinery and generated thick smoke visible across the Philadelphia region. As of recent reports, officials confirmed that the wildfires are now 100% contained, although elevated wildfire risks persist in the area.
