Austin-Bergstrom International Airport has finalized historic use and lease agreements with major airlines, paving the way for a multi-billion-dollar expansion program. The airport is set to add 32 new gates, doubling its size over the next decade. Southwest and Delta Airlines will serve as the anchor tenants for the new terminal, which will feature 26 of the additional gates. This impressive $5 billion expansion, which also includes $300 million in terminal revamps, marks a significant step forward for the airport and its partners.
