In a significant blow to the New York Yankees, Aaron Judge has been left off the roster for the AL Wild Card Series against the Boston Red Sox due to a calf injury. Despite making progress in recovery, concerns about a potential exacerbation of his injury led to the decision to sideline the star slugger. Giancarlo Stanton has been included in the roster, providing some reinforcement for the Yankees in this crucial playoff matchup. Judge has expressed a strong desire to play and has been pushing for a return, but team management remains cautious about his condition.
