A significant scandal has emerged involving a Venezuelan billionaire who received a pardon from Trump shortly after his family entered into a $50 million deal with Trump’s former attorney, Alina Habba. Reports indicate that the family secured the pardon following this substantial financial arrangement, raising questions about the ethics behind such clemency decisions. The political world has been taken aback by these revelations, with accusations of corruption intensifying just weeks before the midterms. Critics argue that the circumstances surrounding the deal and the pardon warrant serious scrutiny, as previous claims of pay-for-parden practices resurfaces.
