The race for Los Angeles mayor is intensifying as candidates Nithya Raman and Karen Bass vie for support. Recent polls indicate a significant shift, with Nithya Raman, backed by the Democratic Socialists of America, gaining momentum and taking a double-digit lead over incumbent Karen Bass, particularly among Latino voters. Raman has unveiled her ambitious first 100 days plan, focusing on advocating for Hollywood and job creation. In response to public frustration with the current leadership, she positions herself as a relentless advocate for change. As voting approaches, the dynamics of the race continue to evolve, with both candidates courting undecided voters and addressing community concerns.
