Apple is gearing up for a significant expansion into the smart home market with the upcoming release of its new smart home hub, HomeView, confirmed for launch on October 13. The HomeView will integrate with Apple’s ecosystem and is expected to feature advanced Siri AI capabilities, FaceTime, and new LG-branded accessories including a smart lock, doorbell, and thermostat. This marks a major shift for Apple as it aims to solidify its presence in the smart home industry, a sector it has struggled to dominate. Additionally, the tech giant is expected to unveil the new Apple TV 4K and HomePad, further enhancing its smart home setup. With these developments, Apple is looking to compete more effectively against established players like Nest and ADT.
