In Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnamese police have arrested 12 individuals suspected of running a cat-stealing ring that has allegedly snatched around 2,700 pet cats from homes. The suspects were reportedly prowling the streets at night, targeting cats for the meat trade. Authorities are prosecuting those detained in connection with this illegal operation, which highlights ongoing concerns regarding animal welfare and food practices in the region.
