A recent congressional report reveals that the US has lost or sustained damage to 81 military aircraft, including drones and helicopters, during the war with Iran. The estimated cost of these losses is around $3.3 billion. The report indicates that the number of lost aircraft has nearly doubled since previous assessments, highlighting the significant toll on the US air fleet as the conflict continues. Iranian officials have claimed that the actual number of aircraft losses is much higher than reported, suggesting a broader impact on US military operations.
