As the midterm elections near, Democrats are rallying behind candidate Bob Harvie in Pennsylvania’s 1st Congressional District, a battleground that has recently seen Brian Fitzpatrick win by a significant margin. House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries has been actively campaigning for Harvie, holding rallies in Bucks County alongside Governor Josh Shapiro, who has also endorsed Harvie. The Philadelphia Inquirer’s editorial board has voiced their support for Harvie while critiquing Fitzpatrick. With growing momentum and strategic endorsements, Democrats are hopeful about flipping the district.
