Two stabbings have been reported near the Taste of Soul festival in Crenshaw, prompting the LAPD to issue a citywide tactical alert due to an unruly crowd. The incidents, which are currently under investigation, occurred as the festival, which attracts around 350,000 attendees annually, was taking place. The LAPD has since canceled the tactical alert but continues to probe the stabbings and manage the situation in the area.
