Tropical Storm Dexter Forms as Atlantic Activity Increases
The National Hurricane Center is currently monitoring multiple systems in the Atlantic as the hurricane season intensifies. Tropical Storm Dexter has formed off the U.S. East Coast, prompting forecasters to track its potential impact, particularly on the Carolinas. In addition, two other areas of interest have been identified, with a 40% chance of development near the Southeast coast. As the peak of the hurricane season approaches, concerns grow over possible storms impacting the region as forecasters keep an eye on the Bermuda High and other weather patterns. Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Henriette has developed in the Pacific, adding to the activity across both oceans.
