Mill Valley resident Catherine Breed has achieved a remarkable feat by becoming the first swimmer to complete the entire 900-mile coastline of California. Her journey, which started with challenges including navigating areas of sewage pollution, concluded in Coronado, setting a new record for ultra-endurance swimming. The swim highlights both her athleticism and the importance of community, as Breed also organized a Swim California pop-up event upon her completion.
