A 29-year-old Florida woman, Nathalie Belizaire, has been arrested after allegedly leaving her four young children, including an infant, home alone for a weekend cruise to the Bahamas. Authorities reported that police found the children unsupervised in their North Miami Beach residence while their mother was on the Carnival Conquest cruise. During a court appearance, Judge Mindy Glazer expressed disbelief at the situation, stressing the seriousness of the neglect charges. Belizaire now faces four counts of child neglect without great bodily harm. She was taken into custody upon disembarking the cruise at PortMiami.
