Amid rising tensions in the West Bank, Israeli police have arrested ten individuals following a series of violent attacks by settlers on journalists and foreign diplomats, including an incident involving a Washington Post photojournalist. U.S. officials have condemned the aggression, calling for stronger action against settler violence and expressing concern over the safety of diplomats and journalists in the region. Reports indicate that the violence escalated during the Palestinian olive harvest, with settlers attacking Palestinians, destroying olive trees, and confronting foreign officials. Both the U.S. ambassador to Israel and representatives from various European countries have urged the Israeli government to take serious measures against settler aggression, as attacks appear to be part of a broader pattern undermining peace efforts in the area.
