The United States has carried out a series of targeted strikes on Iran’s Qeshm Island and Iranian positions in the Strait of Hormuz, which President Trump described as "minor strikes". These actions come as US officials claim to target Iranian air defense systems, while trying to negotiate with Tehran to de-escalate tensions. Despite claims of progress in talks, the strikes have raised concerns of a potential escalation into conflict. Iranian media reported explosions, and the situation remains tense as both sides weigh their next moves in light of the ongoing negotiations and pressure from regional allies.
