A Flydubai flight bound for Tel Aviv was diverted to Saudi Arabia following a violent incident between the pilots, which triggered alarm and concerns of a potential hijacking. Eyewitnesses reported hearing screams and witnessing tumultuous actions in the cockpit, leading to a distress signal being sent before the plane made an emergency landing. Israeli officials confirmed that fighter jets were scrambled in response to the situation, which was later deemed not a kidnapping. Despite allegations that one pilot attempted to crash the plane, passengers reportedly helped subdue the situation. The incident raised significant safety concerns, but authorities confirmed that the flight landed safely.
