Haydn Fleury Rejoins Jets After Hospitalization Due to Injury
Winnipeg Jets defenseman Haydn Fleury has rejoined the team after a terrifying incident in which he was stretchered off the ice following a violent collision with the boards during a game against the Golden Knights. Fleury was hospitalized due to a broken nose and a bruised back, but has since been released and is alert and moving his extremities. The incident prompted a halt in the game as medical personnel attended to him. Following the injury, the Jets placed Fleury on injured reserve and recalled Danny Zhilkin from the minors.
