Rivet, a startup backed by Palantir, is also competing vigorously in the development of soldier virtual displays and has secured a robust $195 million contract for an XR-enabled soldier command system. In total, Anduril and Rivet have been awarded contracts exceeding $350 million to create advanced situational awareness technologies, indicating a competitive and innovative landscape for military goggles and mixed reality applications.
