Federal Disaster Assistance Approved for Arkansas and Kansas Following Severe Storms
In response to severe storms and tornadoes that impacted multiple states, President Trump has approved federal disaster declarations, enabling FEMA to provide relief to affected areas. Arkansas, in particular, has been designated to receive federal assistance for damage caused by storms in both March and April. The state government, under Governor Sanders, is actively opening assistance locations to help residents and businesses in the hardest-hit counties, including Saline and Miller. Additionally, federal disaster aid is also being extended to Kansas for their storm damages. Local leaders are hopeful that these approvals will enable families and communities to recover fully from the devastation.
