MLB Expands In-Market Streaming Options for Fans
Major League Baseball has announced the availability of in-market streaming subscriptions for 20 clubs, including the Los Angeles Angels, Dodgers, and Padres. Beginning today, fans will be able to stream games through MLB.tv and the MLB App. The Angels are set to collaborate with MLB Media to provide their own direct-to-consumer streaming option, with indications of interest in launching an independent TV network. This move positions the Angels alongside other teams like the Phillies, who will also offer streaming services in the upcoming seasons.
