Concerns Rise Over Safety of GLP-1 Weight-Loss Drugs Amid Ongoing Lawsuits
As the popularity of GLP-1 receptor agonists for weight loss grows, so do concerns regarding their safety, with ongoing lawsuits alleging serious harm linked to their use. Reports indicate rising cases of gallbladder complications requiring closer monitoring by pharmacists, along with an unsettling number of severe side effects, including Boerhaave Syndrome and incidents of vulvar deflation. In France, 17 cases of serious side effects associated with misuse of these drugs have been documented.
