Oklahoma Man Charged with Murder Following Fatal Explosion at Marijuana Facility
In a tragic incident, two individuals lost their lives in an explosion at a THC extraction facility in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. The owner of the facility, Ryan Bassham, has been charged with murder. Reports indicate that the cannabis business was not properly licensed and had previously lost its state permit. Following the explosion, which also damaged multiple nearby businesses, Bassham turned himself in and posted a $2 million bond, despite facing additional charges in Creek County. This incident has prompted local authorities and the Tulsa County District Attorney to call for stricter regulations and oversight within the marijuana industry, aiming to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
