A dual UK-Iranian national has been arrested in relation to a security incident at the RAF Fairford air base, which is used by US forces. British authorities are investigating strong indications that Iran may have played a role in an alleged bomb plot targeting the air base. The Prime Minister stated that there is a belief that Iran was involved, following the detention of five men who were also arrested under suspicion of planning a terrorist act. Although no explosives were found, police recovered a quantity of petrol and continue to probe the situation. The arrests have raised concerns about potential terrorist activities linked to Iran amidst escalating tensions.
