Tragic Accident at Colorado Gold Mine Leaves One Dead and Twelve Rescued
A recent incident at the Mollie Kathleen Gold Mine in Colorado has resulted in one fatality and the rescue of twelve individuals who were trapped underground. The accident occurred during a tour of the former gold mine when an elevator malfunction led to the tourists becoming stuck approximately 1,000 feet beneath the surface for several hours. Rescue operations were quickly initiated, and all twelve trapped tourists were eventually brought to safety. The cause of the malfunction is currently under investigation.
