Search Underway for Missing Passenger Plane in Alaska Carrying 10 People
Authorities in Alaska are engaged in a large-scale search operation for a Bering Air passenger plane that went missing while flying over the region. The small aircraft, which had 10 individuals on board, vanished from radar approximately 10 minutes before its scheduled landing near Nome. Rescue crews have been dispatched to scour both land and open waters in the Norton Sound area in hopes of locating the overdue flight.
