Epic Games Sues Google and Samsung Over Antitrust Allegations
Epic Games has launched a new lawsuit against Google and Samsung, alleging that the two companies colluded to restrict competition in the app store market. The lawsuit accuses Samsung of using a feature called 'Auto Blocker' to obstruct downloads of Fortnite and other third-party applications, making it difficult for users to sideload apps on Galaxy devices. Epic claims that this behavior violates antitrust laws and aims to protect their own app distribution through the Epic Games Store. This legal action follows a series of similar complaints against Google, indicating a continued battle over app store regulations and fair competition in the mobile gaming industry.
