Vince McMahon Settles SEC Charges Over Undisclosed Payments
Former WWE CEO Vince McMahon has reached a settlement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regarding allegations of undisclosed payments made to two women. McMahon will pay $1.7 million in fines, which includes $400,000 as a penalty and $1.3 million to reimburse WWE for the undisclosed settlements. McMahon expressed relief over the resolution, stating, “I’m thrilled I can put all this behind me.” The SEC had charged him for failing to disclose these settlement agreements, which fall under scrutiny for transparency violations.
