NFL Expands Global Reach with New Marketing Rights and International Initiatives
The NFL continues to broaden its international presence through the Global Markets Program, recently awarding international marketing rights to several teams in various countries. The Los Angeles Chargers have gained rights in Greece, while the Packers secured access in Germany, Ireland, and the UK. The Ravens and Chiefs also joined in, obtaining rights in the UK and expanding into new markets such as Spain. Furthermore, the Seahawks and Raiders entered Australia and New Zealand, respectively. Notably, the NFL is exploring potential games in the Middle East, particularly in the UAE, with Abu Dhabi as a possible future host. As the league prepares for 2025, it has added four new clubs and is considering regular-season games across these international markets, reinforcing its strategy to connect with fans globally.
