Recent developments regarding Starlink and its military-grade counterpart Starshield have raised significant concerns in Ukraine, particularly about the implications of U.S. government decisions on satellite support. Sources indicate that orders to limit Starshield access came from within the White House, leading to accusations against Elon Musk and former President Trump for their roles in these restrictions. Ukrainian officials have expressed alarm, with claims that the slowdown of these satellite services has severe consequences for their military operations. GOP senators are demanding investigations into the disruptions, while Musk has suggested that government influences are behind these limitations. As Ukraine continues to navigate these challenges, President Zelenskyy has denounced the restrictions and called for a lifting of Starlink caps to protect their defenses against Russian aggression.
