The Democratic Republic of Congo has commenced a critical campaign to vaccinate health workers in regions hardest hit by the Ebola outbreak. This initiative, aimed at frontline personnel, is designed to bolster defenses against the virus in the epicenter of the crisis. In addition, Doctors Without Borders has launched its own vaccination study among contributing healthcare workers to assess the effectiveness and safety of the Ebola vaccine. The vaccination efforts have also expanded into the Ituri province, where over 3,700 individuals have been vaccinated as part of the broader response to mitigate the outbreak.
