Texas Senate candidate James Talarico has returned to the campaign trail after a 12-day absence due to the flu, dismissing speculation about his health. Talarico faced criticism from opponents, including Ken Paxton, who claimed his absence raised questions about his fitness for office. Talarico appeared publicly at the Austin City Limits music festival and challenged Paxton to a debate, insisting on transparency amid the mounting GOP pressure. His return was met with a mix of skepticism and support from party leaders, with the Texas Democratic Party expressing confidence as they push forward in the final stretch of the campaign.
