Major Bust of Copper Theft Ring in Virginia
Authorities have made significant arrests in connection with a large-scale copper theft ring operating across Virginia and Maryland. Three suspects from Maryland were charged with stealing millions in copper materials linked to organized crime. The operation, which reportedly caused losses of around $3 million, led to arrests in Loudoun County, where deputies dismantled a copper wire theft scheme. Additionally, two men in Bedford were charged with related offenses including larceny and destruction of property. The investigation revealed that some suspects crossed state lines to facilitate their criminal activities.
