Former Vice President Kamala Harris has been actively campaigning in Mississippi for Democratic Senate candidate Scott Colom, engaging with local voters and addressing rural healthcare concerns. During her rally in Columbus, Harris faced mixed reactions, including a lack of enthusiasm from the crowd following a misquoted motivational line. Despite setbacks, including a venue change after MUW declined to host the event, Harris emphasized the importance of Mississippi and rallied support for Colom ahead of the upcoming midterm elections. She also participated in healthcare discussions in Clarksdale, seeking to elevate awareness of pressing issues in the region.
