Winter Storm Watch Issued as Blizzard Conditions Expected Across Midwest
A significant winter storm is poised to impact much of the Midwest, with severe weather threats including heavy snow and high winds. The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch that includes the Twin Cities and stretches across more than 21 counties in Minnesota and Wisconsin. A blizzard warning is in effect, forecasting potential whiteout conditions late Tuesday into Wednesday, particularly near Sioux Falls. The storm is expected to bring up to 10 inches of snow in some areas, along with strong winds contributing to hazardous travel conditions. Residents are advised to prepare for another round of intense winter weather following a brief period of warmer temperatures.
