The Philadelphia Eagles are facing significant backlash regarding the handling of quarterback Jalen Hurts, who has been diagnosed with blood clots in his lungs and leg. Despite the serious nature of his condition, the NFL has decided not to punish the team for allowing him to play with the clots. The situation has raised critical questions about player safety, as many believe Hurts should never have been on the field. Hurts is now officially ruled out for the remainder of the season, leaving the Eagles to navigate their next steps without their star quarterback. The fallout has sparked wide concern in the sports community about the handling of such health issues, with experts and former athletes calling for greater awareness and caution.
