Tropical Disturbances Being Monitored in the Atlantic
The National Hurricane Center (NHC) is currently monitoring a series of tropical disturbances in the Atlantic. A newly formed disturbance, dubbed Invest 94L, may develop into a short-lived tropical depression as it approaches the Cabo Verde Islands, with the NHC giving it a 50% chance of becoming a cyclone. There are concerns that it could impact the Caribbean later this week. However, overall development chances in the Atlantic remain low, with forecasters noting only one small disturbance currently. As Florida continues to recover from Hurricane Milton, another system is making its way toward the region. Conditions in the Atlantic are uncertain, with some forecasts indicating a decrease in the likelihood of cyclone formation.
