In a significant recognition of early-career researchers, the Sloan Foundation has announced the award of 126 prestigious 2026 Sloan Research Fellowships to faculty from various prominent institutions. Notable highlights include four faculty from UC San Diego, eight scholars from the University of Chicago, and seven faculty members from both UC Berkeley and Stanford. Additional institutions such as Cornell, Northwestern, and Boston University also had several of their faculty members honored with these fellowships.
